Based on what I know, creatine is good if you take it 5g a day. What happens if you surplus your daily intake?

There are definitely people who take more than 5g a day. It's called loading and deloading phases. Try giving it a quick google search.

Also keep in mind that you have to be consistent in taking creatine to see results assuming you are consistent with ur diet and workout lifestyle

AFAIK walang noticeable benefit/downside sa pagtake ng more than 5g a day. Siguro yung mga stomachache lang pag mataas ang dose lalo pag loading phase
