The 16/8 method: Also called the Leangains protocol, it involves skipping breakfast and restricting your daily eating period to 8 hours, such as 1–9 p.m. Then you fast for 16 hours in between.
Eat-Stop-Eat: This involves fasting for 24 hours, once or twice a week, for example by not eating from dinner one day until dinner the next day.
Ive been fat, skinny, fit, well-built. Ive gone through the whole cycle. Not sure if that helps you in anyway but I feel like I might be able to talk about it.
Honestly don't force yourself onto a diet or a workout plan that isn't possible for you right from the get go. Take small steps. Allow your body to adjust and don't just dive head first into a full workout plan or diet plan that some random person gave you.
You don't need to throw away food you enjoy. Eat it in controlled amounts. Start from there.
You don't need to hit the gym. Find a physical activity that you enjoy and start there.
Once you start being Physically active and maybe set some ground rules for how and what youre allowing yourself to eat. You can decide from there whether you want to go down the route of full physical fitness or you're happy where you are.
