Gym is the best effective way to loss weight but if you dont afford it . You should first condition your mind and prepare your body for self decipline training at home . There are applications that provides exercise at home you should check on that.
Is going to gym as being fat the best way or should I do calory deficit first maybe lose some weight ???

Learn to eat more plant based meals. Not add vegetables to your meal. As in have no meat meals every now and then. Start with 1 plant-based meal a Day.

Gradually tapering off your quantity of how much you eat may work :)

i am fat my whole life and it sucks. nag yoyoyo lang yung weight ko (papayat tapos tataba) i need something consistent
Try doing water therapy. Di ka mahihirapan mag-adjust kasi feeling mo busog ka pa din after mo kumain. Busog ka na, madami pa water intake mo, nakapagpapayat ka pa. Best of both worlds.

And exercise also :)
