Someone mentioned it before but have a better purpose. You have to have a strong reason why. If everytime you masturbate and someone you love will die, you will prob think twice about doing it. Your reason why is because that's not who you want to be and you're a person with self control and you are not comprising that. But another thing is technique. You should try find your "trigger". You may already know what it is. It can be spark by boredom, laying in the bed on your stomach, surfing thru porn website, etc. Learn to not fall into those trigger and be aware of it. I'm on this journey myself so it's not easy. There's a community called nofap that try to help but don't surprise there's some trollers there
