Lately the cameras are not good, especially GoPro :/

Leica cameras are definitely niche. They don't perform "stellar on every level" -- there's a certain demographic (not necessarily rich, but to buy one, you have to be pretty loaded) that gravitate towards the combination of Leica's style of body creation, optics, and image processing (for digital). It's good for the people who like that certain combination of factors.

For tech enthusiasts, Sony is usually the better choice

Habang nagba-browse ako ng cameras sa Marketplace, I kept seeing these so called Leica cameras.

Are they worth the hype and price? Can they even compete against Nikon, Sony, etc.?

I just wanna say u suck if u get leica

camera gear is not equal to good photos. find a pro photographer and give them a phone camera they will still do better than you. so yes not worth it
