One word, and I won't sugar-coat it: Uneducated. Kulang talaga sa voters' education dito sa bansa, and one of the reasons why is because when people are educated, they start to question the status quo. Di na nila makokontrol ang mga botante kung maging edukado sila sa pagboto. Ika nga nila, "kapag ikaw ay namulat, kasalanan na ang pumikit."Do the problems of the Philippines, solely comes from the corrupt government officials or the voters who put them in position in the first place?
I'd like to hear your insights, but please be respectful if you are going to engage to a conversation.
For example: a certain senator who won because he danced budots. Walang plataporma na pinresenta. Ginamit niya yung kasikatan niya bilang artista at ang kanyang dance skills para manalo. No one cared if he had a Plunder case. Basta gwapo at magaling sumayaw at magpa-aliw ng tao, panalo yan.
Such is the sad state of of voters' education in the country.
