we have lots of uneducated voters, and more misinformed ones. you can't blame them if no one or they themselves can't verify if the information they received is true or not. of course a corrupt government plays a role in this

we have lots of uneducated voters, along with misinformed ones, and its really hard to blame them for their decisions, with the exception of those na nagbubulag-bulagan lang.

Eh. Most voters are easily swayed by misinformation. The education system is the culprit here.

Filipinos are the kind of people who want to see change but don't want to change themselves (as mentioned by seenwai). As to being voters, they are heavily regionalistic (if that's even a word), where regions vote by block, see "solid north" for example. This can be blamed on the history of the country itself, mainly because of the clan-system. This made the country heavily fragmented that its effects are still felt until today.
