We all know that parents nowadays forbid there children to do exercise like weightlifting because they are worried it will stunts their growth.
Whats your opinion?

I would say that parents need to open up more when it comes to their child showing interest in this since it could be very beneficial for them. I personally had a hard time convincing my parents when I was young that weightlifting was completely alright for my age as long as I maintained proper form to avoid injury but I guess there is also the thought of them being cautious for me and I think its the same for most. I started lifting when I was 16 and it did not hinder my growth, I'm even taller than my dad who is 5'11" where I reached 6'1". Just make sure to maintain proper nutrition to ensure growth doesn't stop

watch the weightlifting scene in china. as early as they can walk they train na. mostly techniques naman for early ages eh. And for me okay na din yang 18+/-, unlike sa iba na they start older na they lack flexibility and mobility sa ibang exercise/lifting aspects

I'd say maghanap sila ng proper coach kung magsisimula sila without any form of exercising experience. Baka kasi takot yung parents sa binubuhat. Also, kahit na genetics yung pinaka-magsasabi ng growth ng isang tao, possible na ma-stunt yung growth mo kung ma-injured ka at naiwanan sa bahay imbis na nagpapalakas o nagpapaka-active, so proper routines and exercise is the way!
