Cost of living really depends on location.
CAN is a bit cheaper but is not as diverse in terms of leisure pursuits.
USA has a higher cost of living overall but provides more opportunities if you do well for yourself.
Either way, when you live in one you can just visit the other as they share a border.
There are large Filipino communities in both countries - easy to find other Filipinos to make friends with.
