Vintage cameras are a good place to start. Its a place where you can learn the basics. Mejo magastos though pero ang learning talaga dito trial and error. Suggestion ko if you're gonna study film is to bring a notebook everytime mag shoot ka para marecord yung settings and matandaan yung lighting conditions at that moment in time para may learning. The best thing about vintage cameras and film is achieving the certain look and the "high" you get when you receive your scans for the first time. I know it's scary to jump into it but it's worth it, mejo magastos lang ang film though. For a camera you may opt to get anything you want just always research about it's conditions kung fully mechanical ba siya or may electronic component, anong batteries tinetake niya, and ALWAYS check the condition of the GLASS kung gasgas man o hindi, as well as watch out for molds.

Napansin ko lang yung growing popularity ng film nowadays. Hanap ata nila is that certain "aesthetic" na medyo grainy at vivd colors. Kaso for a roll of film medyo at a premium na at di pa kasama ang develop at scan/print.

Kaya as an alternative, people are looking for old digicams from the 2000s. Sabi nila yung low megapixels plus graininess give it a "film look". I'm kinda conflicted din kasi I want to try it for myself if it's worth the hype (and money) to buy an early-mid 2000s digicam.

I want to hear some opinions about this kasi medyo sumisikat na rin yan and medyo varied pa ang prices.

Thank you in advance :)
Steep learning curve sa old digicams. Tsaka quality is lower compared sa scanned films. But, arguably, it really has the aesthetic of the old sensors.

Nothing beats the dynamic range of film cameras pero napansin ko na bumaba quality ng pagprocess and scan ng film rolls. Try looking into Fujifilm X100s, although pricey but worth considering if you want the "film" aesthetic.

i personally have an old sony digicam, and thankfully it uses the modern sd card. perfect for taking film-like photos
