Napansin ko lang yung growing popularity ng film nowadays. Hanap ata nila is that certain "aesthetic" na medyo grainy at vivd colors. Kaso for a roll of film medyo at a premium na at di pa kasama ang develop at scan/print.

Kaya as an alternative, people are looking for old digicams from the 2000s. Sabi nila yung low megapixels plus graininess give it a "film look". I'm kinda conflicted din kasi I want to try it for myself if it's worth the hype (and money) to buy an early-mid 2000s digicam.

I want to hear some opinions about this kasi medyo sumisikat na rin yan and medyo varied pa ang prices.

Well, things are going full circle. I say, go for it, pero provided na youll give it practice. Kasi hindi naman lahat is aesthetic alone, but also your composition.

Easily achieved yan ng filters. Adjust mo lang din ISO for that grain / noise kung may ganun kang option. No need to buy cheap digicams.

Kung gusto mo po talaga fo for it. pero medjo hustle sa process and pricy lalo na kung wala pa practice

Everything can be done in post processing,pero syempre mas okay kung yung pitik mo e kung ano yung gusto mong visuals na. Kung may dslr ka look for plastic lenses para sa aesthetics

Indeed tama lahat sila. Lahat ng mga trip nila na feel or aesthetic is possible sa post-processing. Pero, kung trip mo nga talaga, go kasi mura lang naman ang old digi cams over films. Pero, lower quality siya compared sa film. Mas gusto ko yung suggestion ni throwaway42069. Kuha ka ng DSLR tapos plastic lenses na lang. Higher quality images with the same unadulterated feel without post-processing.

Those vintage digicams are beginner friendly naman. Tyagaan lang sa paghahanap ng swak para sa price. Kapag nagustuhan mo, saka ka gumastos nang malaki.

Kodak Gold 200 is my go to film, and I use Leica m6
