Rest.
Find someone to vent to, people using chatgpt if humans won't listen.

Balance your depression with others. Everyone is having something difficult, so being all negative or positive is bad.

Be honest with your shortcomings. If you look bad, be fine with what you can't change. Other people faults if they don't like you for bad looks or status.

  1. Basic self care. This means getting ample/quality sleep, eating a lot of vegetables and less sugar, moving around outside a lot, and practicing good hygiene and grooming. I try to make sleep the foundation of my day and hook everything else as associated habits to either end of it.
  2. Meditation. People can mean a lot of different things by this, but for me it means stopping whatever it is I'm doing to breathe deeply and pay attention to the way I'm feeling without trying to fix it. You can use this as an opportunity to get friendly with your anxiety and other negative feelings. If you can feel the whole feeling (all the shapes and edges of it in your body and mind) then you can start to contain it a little bit and lessen its control over you.
  3. Challenge yourself. Push at the boundaries of your comfort on a regular basis. Try going out by yourself so you can be around other people anonymously. Get coffee with one friend. Show up at a party but don't feel pressure to stay longer than 30 minutes. That kind of thing. Little victories add up, and little failures are good ways to learn.
  4. try to talk to someone. Start out with small talks with friends or even meet new people online / discord / other social media, this will likely be easier than being face to face with someone. Social anxiety is not something that will go away with a routine - unlike depression, which can be reduced quite dramatically. Talking to people and putting yourself into unfavourable positions is the only way out of this trap.

hope it helps sayo to katzmate! :)
