Is it true that foreign companies values skill more than grades and achievements(e.g. being a top notcher)?

Im a fresh grad engineer and Im thinking if i should upskill or focus on studying for the board exam. Please guide me thanks
maraming fields tlga ang nagbabase sa skills and not academic background... kasi oo matalino kanga hindi kanaman nag eexcell when it comes to skills demosntration lalo na kung skills ang demand ng course and future job mo like nursing. oo parte ung talino pero given naman na tlga na dapat pag matalino ka magaling kadin skill wise

Depends sa job mo. Kung mag dodoctor ka edi Wala atang pasyente na pupunta sa'yo lol. Pero sa mga customer service or whatever, usually skills mo is what matters there. School can't teach you anything about that job anyway
