Coming from someone who already tried to commit, just the thought of the future helped me overcome the dread of today :)

I felt like this since my teen years and you just have to show up every day.
Youre going to have terrible days and youre going to have better days but you have to stick around. All the advice i received during my younger years I never believed but if I didn’t show up every day I wouldnt have seen all the countries I’ve seen, i wouldnt have gotten married, started a family etc.

My career was going great. Work and life was good. Then covid hits. I lost my job but was paid. I was still okay at this point. Even told my parents that I would rest and study before going back to work. Even asked my father to quit his work because I know that he will be very exposed to a lot of people which raise the risk of getting infected. It was still the early days of covid in PH and most of the people still don't know much about it. No vaccines yet. Then, it happened. He got sick, we all got it. Then within a few weeks, we lost him. All you can do that time was to bring him to a hospital where they allowed no one to see him. I never felt that useless in my life at that point. I feel like I am already dead now. Most days I am disappointed that I still woke up.
Wow, please keep fighting, life is long and you just started my friend.

Wanting to see the next thing keeps me going. I hate whatever life dishe to me, but I can control how I react and what's valuable. Often the dead regret suicide.
