Don't really live with religious people but the ones I am usually in contact with are not exactly trying to force religion unto anyone as far as I know. Lucky, I guess. I am also a student in a Catholic university and at times we are required to attend masses. I just keep to myself and sign the damn proof of attendance haha. Anyway, I just live my life normally without the need to worship or attend any religious gatherings. I guess I have more free time than some

Curious lang ako kasi wala talaga akong kilala maliban sa akin na non-believer, maliit lang ang circle ko so kaya ganon. One time nag stay ako sa pinaka religious na member ng family namin and they always pray bago kumain, I felt awkward although alam naman nila na hindi ako naniniwala at tanggap naman nila ako, so ginaya ko na lang sila pero hindi ako pumikit at nakatingin lang ako sa kanila habang nagdadasal sila. Medyo awkward yung experience.

Ginagawa ko is nakikisabay lang ako at nirerecite kailangan i recite hoping na matapos na agad para manahimik na agad ako

Medyo mahina yung faith ko pero in the end naniniwala parin ako na may Diyos, so I do not mind na religious yung kinakasama ko. I do believe na accepting naman ang family ko if dinecide ko na maging open ako sa aking agnosticism pero I don't want to test that theory.

mahirap panindigan yung pinaniniwalaan mo sa una. lalo sa family. avoidant kasi ako, ayoko ng issue. sa mga friends sinabi ko sakanila nung nagbago beliefs ko pero sa family, walang kibo nalang hanggang sa di na pansinin

Medyo scary mag come out as atheist, especially since core part ng Philippines ay christianity kaya i mostly keep silent about my atheistic ways

Ignoring them helps, but sometimes di maavoid na mag heated discussions talaga haha

They were the reason I became a non-believer in the first place, imagine living your life the way you want to tapos lahat nalang na ginagawa mo pinagsabihan na wala daw yan sa biblio, gawa nang demonyo, hindi daw maganda yan kasi sabi ni god daw sa vision nya. I barely speak to my family members nowadays and they had the gall to blame it to "internet" and my friends. But yeah I live my life normally and whenever a religious topic comes up I just physically leave the conversation.

Agnostic ako meron akong mga militant religious na kakilala. As in ang toxic nila sa social media. Nakakaasar sila pero hindi ko na lang pinapansin since paniniwala naman nila yun and iba ang paniniwala ko sa kanila.
