For developers here which is better to use Macbook or Laptop w/ Linux OS?

Macbook if you have the budget. I suggest getting Apple Silicon (M1, M2, etc.) rather than the ones with Intel CPUs. Although dual boot is not possible in Apple Silicon, it's still Unix-based so most Linux commands will work for you (except for package managers). But if you need an AMD64 architecture or dual boot for some reason, then you have to get the intel one.
Otherwise if you don't have the budget, look for a Linux compatible laptop. I have not seen any stores selling laptops with a Linux OS installed so you might have to do the installation yourself. For incompatible laptops, you might encounter driver issues (Audio not working, No Wifi/bluetooth connection, etc.). I experienced this when I had a Dell Laptop (it's an old model now). Had to do some driver installations or workarounds so there's an extra step.
