They need to be registered and license holders just like motorcyclist. Motorista ako and they share the same road I use. Dapat lang alam nila paano gamitin. Karamihan kasi sa kanila di din driver o rider kaya delikado.

I would say this is okay, aside from bawas usok - this is more affordable for some families here in ph. Hindi lahat afford ang 4 wheels but need to have mode of transport for their small business.

Please specify kung nagdridriver kayo ng 4 wheels, motor or bicycle.
As cyclist kasi ay eto ang opinion ko dyan. I admit na maraming jempoy na kapwa ko cyclist but we don't tolerate them. Marami din kamo na motorcycle ride. Pero mas malala sa mga naka eBikke na 3 to 4 wheels. Ok ako na irequire na din ng drivers license ang mga cyclist and etong mga eBike kung nasa national road.
The introduction of eBikes or electric bicycles in our country with poor road conditions and a lack of adherence to traffic laws can lead to both positive and negative outcomes. In this paper, we will explore the ups and downs of e-bikes trending in such an environment and analyze the impact it will have on society.
Upsides:

  1. Enhanced Convenience and Accessibility: eBikes provide users with more flexibility and convenience, allowing them to travel longer distances with less physical exertion. This can be particularly beneficial for people with disabilities or those living in areas with limited public transportation options.
  2. Environmental Benefits: eBikes have zero exhaust emissions, making them a more sustainable option compared to internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. This can help to reduce air and noise pollution, particularly in urban areas.
  3. Economic Incentives: The cost of operating an eBike is significantly lower than owning and maintaining an ICE vehicle, making it more affordable for many people. The reduction in fuel costs can also provide a much-needed financial relief for many Filipinos.

    Downsides:
    1. Road Safety Concerns: Poor roads and a lack of adherence to traffic laws can lead to a higher risk of accidents and injuries involving eBikes. This can be particularly severe in areas with limited cycling infrastructure, where eBikes are forced to share the road with heavier vehicles.
    2. Energy Infrastructure: The success of eBikes in a country like the Philippines requires reliable electricity infrastructure. Areas with limited access to electricity or frequent power breakdowns can reduce the practicality of eBikes as a means of transportation.
    3. Limited Range and Speed: As of the time of writing, the range and top speed of most eBikes are still limited compared to ICE vehicles. This can hinder their ability to meet the transportation needs of some people, especially for long-distance commuting on poorly maintained roads.

I agree with you, tbh dapat talaga naleless na ang mga kotse sa pilipinas and napropromote dapat ang inclusive mobility

I believe there should be more of an effort to build charging stations in the country.

Ebikes are great, but unfortunately di pa pwede sa streets ng bansa natin. Kung madami paring accidents via bikes, what difference does it make pag ebike? Would also add na maganda lang yun for short/quick trips, if hindi pa obvious. Anything other than that, I advocate for better public transportation kesa sa car-centric na streets.

It's super convenient especially kung sa mga subdivision or villages ka nakatira since di mo na need lakarin palabas. Although a bit of a problem is may mga hindi educated sa road rules kaya may mga times na nakaka abala sila sa mga other drivers.
