My Take: Ukraine has all the rights to exercise their sovereignty.
• They don't want to be part of the Russian Sphere of Influence anymore
• Russia don't see Ukraine as Ukraine, but a part of their "once glorious empire"
• Ukraine's economic and social situation are worse off during the Russian/Soviet puppet regime
• Viktor Yanukovych (aka Putin's bitch) has been an agent of Russia and compromised their sovereignty
If they want to be part of NATO and/or EU, who is Russia to stop them? Russia don't want NATO and EU near their doorsteps because THEY'RE SCARED OF THEM. IT SCARES PUTIN THE MOST BECAUSE HE'LL LOSE HIS GRIP ON RUSSIA.
I'm not a fan of US and the West (white pricks with superiority complex), but fck the Russian Government and Putin for doing this. Whatever will be the outcome of this, Ukraine's the greatest loser.
