For almost all of my life I have been searching for the truth behind human existence, and this curiosity of mine have brought me to the deepest and darkest reset ever. Noon I truly believe in the BIBLE, like lahat ng katanungan ko nasasagot niya, it was until Highschool where I started to question everything, and I am very lucky that I have been born in the peek of technological advancement where the data, knowledge and informations people need are everywhere if they know where to look.

I have been in many religions, mostly christian religions and that there was a time that I also had interest in Islam and Judaisim. The reason is that I cannt get a hold of that information of knowledge I need. The story of existence, nothing can really explain this. But for me one thing is for sure, weve come a long way para lang paniwalaan ang mga relihyon na nagkalat sa mundo, they've had their origins and purposes kung bakit naitayo at nabuo ang mga relihyon, one of the purspose is to be the baseline of ethical deeds. Other than that, almost none of these explains the creation in a much believable way. They speak of divine intervention and such but we all know that the texts where translated, revised and censored for thousands of years just to please the goals of certain religions. But if all humans dig a little deeper, we will understand, as I understood, that the truth we seek is far more deeper and almost out of reach because of the normal lifespan of human beings which is nasa 60-80 years lang. We could never really know all the secrets of the cosmos and existence. Too bad they've murdered George Van Tassel. Anyways I don't want to directly tell you that God doesn't exist, the thing is, there is one alpha and omega but the God (Elohim) as described in the BIBLE is not the God you think of. Some scary shit for a contemporary religious person right ?

The question I want to ask for the people in this platform is, How do you perceive existence ? What are your thoughts on the real history of mankind ?
What if I told you that the Gods you worship now are just beings, real physical beings far more superior than us ? Would you still pray ?

This question may bore most of the people in this thread but I think its a good talk if someone is really into this kinds of discussion.​

Para sakin @DonDmitri hindi talaga pwd pagsamahin ang religion at science. ako naman may pananampalataya pero sa perspective ng existence parang mejo may point ang science. We don't know the starting point pero based on some discoveries, parang mas may point na nanggaling tayo sa microorganism na nag evolve throughout the time given the environment. Sabihin na nating meron talagang dyos pero sabi nga ni tomas, to see is to believe. Its up to us kung saan tayo maniniwala pero mas maganda jan set our beliefs into neutral, naniniwala tayo na may dyos habang inoobserbahan natin ang science.

I like how you have a calm view bro hehe. Thats why di ko muna masyadong binuhos lahat kasi I know some faithful people will get offended pero actually some people are afraid to even think about these things, why ? kasi takot ang tao na magreset, takot ang karamihan sa bagong perception about human existence kasi kailangan nilang isantabi lahat ng nalalaman nila from the very beginning, very few are those who are brave . In this technological era bro, ambilis nating makadiskubre ng mga bagay bagay dahil sa science, but religious sects invalidates them.

Just imagine showing an android or apple iphone sa mga tao noong unang panahon, theyd freakout at baka sabihin pa nilang magic but in reality its just technology haha. Just think of it, what if this was the case in the Bible descriptions of angels, god, and unknown creatures and objects like the ark of the covenant and the revelation story of Ezekiel.

People would actually freak out.

I am a believer of God din but not on the church also. Kasi for me ha church is a form of business,think of pagpapari as a course na pwede itake after you graduated Senior High School. I prayed a lot yes, lalo kapag di ajo makapagisip ng maayos. May reason bakit di ako naniniwala sa church is i Was offered to take a course of pagpapari nung High School dun nagbago pagtingin ko HAHAHAA and tama nga naman to see is to believe yan din preception ko sa buhay. And Church and any other Religion for me is a form of business. One good example yung tinuturing na Appointed Son of God ng Pinas na dami ng kayamanan because of the so called Religion.

Ive also been thinking of enrolling in seminary nung grumaduate ako ng college, they offer good philosophy courses no wonder they are good at manipulation. I know a priest, maybe mga taga UST kilala nila to. He actually said "My personal life does not have anything to do with my being a priest" haha. Untaxable pa sila, diba ang gandang business.

but back to the topic, would you guys still pray kapag nalaman niyong isa lang palang entity na mas mataas lang saatin ang inyong pinagdadasalan (the God you have heard of from the bible) ?

I was the most religious catholic in my school and out of everyone I knew. One day it just hit me that the ones who were head of the church were either corrupt, pedophiles, or both. Whenever I had questions about God or things I saw that contradicted other statements in the bible, the priests I was close too just told me to have faith and never wanted to go into my question. I can't go back to just praying for my own life when catholicism basically says that everyone who doesnt believe dies and burns forever, just like Islam, the Jews, its all the same bs. Its so hypocrytical and seeing it through this lens now makes me want to laugh at all the time I spent praying and hearing mass.
