i voted for Leni, pero dami tlgang asshole na nag campaign sa kanya, I almost didnt want to but i thought to myself gusto ko ung tumatakbo, pero if pumuinta ka sa mga rally ng pink ang dami tlgang hipokritong pinoy na kasama. ito ung mga nag peak ng highschool o college na pilit binabalik through the campaign. marami din di nakaka intindi ano tlga yang lay layan, they havent lived it but i did kaya pag nag eexplain ako tapos may rebut sila kung ano daw tlga parang na gaslit pa ako

Yeah, partly. I don't know about her but her fans copied west's left/woke and even aggressively supported LGBT. Karamihan pa naman sa atin ayaw sa bakla at trans.

The real reason is the huge amount of paid actors and vloggers. Remember Tallano gold? Martial law as a good thing? Also the massive troll army and propaganda. The Filipino masses love the smearing campaigns against the "disente" side and will happily suck up any news (or fake news) about them, because they hate the elites, or something like that. Funny and depressing at the same time.

True that, the whole marketing angle really messed with perceptions. It's wild how the narratives shifted, especially with all the paid content creators involved. Makes you wonder what the real impact on the election was.
