Some people deserve to have no platform but most of the cases dont fit this criteria, for example cancelling someone for past behaviour is uncalled for unless the person is openly contunually doing the act

It's in our culture na din.

there's a difference between hearing both sides of the story and giving someone a platform to spread lies.
Take Toni Gonzaga for example. We should always listen to different sides of the story bakit cinacancel yung bagay o tao.

Nakakatuwa lang na meron tayong way to alleviate that, and those are memes.
May mga tao kasi na nagmamature and at the same time, yung mga nagmamature na yun eh napapalitan din ng mga panibagong nagcacancel so it's a repetitive process.
Pero the topic still stands, I think cancel culture is here to stay and only time will tell whether mas dadami ba ang taong mature or hindi.

Cancel culture is a very toxic concept to me. Similar to the idea of burning the witch back in the days. Porket bang may ginawang mali yung tao ay kailangang ipahiya at sirain yung future? Sure, they may have done something wrong in the past but if theu learned from it then give them another chance to live life normally. But if it is obvious that they never learned and keep repeating the same heinous acts then let them burn

Cancel culture is a two-sided coint itself. It can be both a curse or good luck for somebody.
