1. Avoid telco accounts lalo na kapag newbie ka pa lang.
2. Pag ayaw mo na sa company at madami ka na experience sa BPO.. Awolan mo lang.. hanap ulit next company.
3. Kapag mag aaply ka at may AWOL ka.. Wag na wag mo i-dedeclare sa interview.. matic bagsak ka kagad
4. Mas less toxic ang mga Back Office positions. ( chill na chill ka lang dito)
5. Wag na wag ka mag tatagalog kahit isang word during interview at pilitin mong 100% english lang kahit wrong grammar ka at iwasan maging utal utal.
6. Kapag nag apply ka at may SVAR.. Sa last part ng SVAR exam yung free speech.. pag na blanko ka.. mag recite ka lang ng any prayer.. Basta wala dapat dead air sa time na binigay sayo.

Telco accounts usually has the most toxic environment in the BPO industry. I had worked in a financial, health, food delivery, retail and telco accounts. Some of them are non-voice (e-mail and chat), some are Back office and of course there are voice accounts too. Based on my experience and other tenured colleagues, TELCO accounts gave us the most stressful and challenging experience.

That is why I strongly recommend that if you are a newbie and just want to enter the BPO Industry, I highly recommend that you avoid a telco account especially if it is a voice account because you might be overwhelmed and experience a culture shock.

My best advice for newbies like fresh graduates, try to look for a financial, health or retail account.

Just try and try even if you always fail the interview because it will give you a lot of experience and confidence when you apply again for other company.

-Magiging makapal na mukha mo sa mga susunod na interviews at mas maganda na ang mga maisasagot mo compare sa mga previous failed applications mo.

If you fail an interview, reflect on the answers that you gave to the interviewer. Because sometimes if the interviewer saw a NEGATIVE attittude on you, base on your answers.. most likely you will fail the interview. Sometimes you need to not tell the truth or always think of an answer that will catch the interviewers attention.

- Madami nadadali na applicants kapag sinasabi nila minsan yung totoo or nagpapaka totoo sila. For example, sasabihin mo about sa sarili mo hindi ka pala kaibigan or tahimik kang tao or mas gusto mo lagi kang nag iisa dun pa lang mejo may konting negative points na kagad sa interviewer yan.. Remember you are applying in a BPO company.. dapat friendly ka, team player ka at marunong ka makisama at mahaba pasensya mo.. Basta ang maipapayo ko lang wag na wag ka magsasabi ng mga negative traits na magpapahamak sayo during your interview.

1. Bakit ia-avoid? Telco accounts never discriminate unlike the others. At ito ang isa sa pinaka magandang training ground for a newbie.
2. AWOL? Always do a graceful exit. Render like a pro.
3. That's the reason why you need to render for your resignation so that rehireable ka din.
4. Not all, been w/ L3-L4 back office for quite a while stressful din lol.
5. It's hard not to stutter on an interview, best advise for me would be have a brief pause then collect yourself before starting to speak again.
6. Viable, pero mas okay to repeat the information that you were able to retain.
