Choosing between AMD and NVIDIA GPUs is like picking your favorite flavor of ice cream—there's no one-size-fits-all answer. AMD and NVIDIA are the big players, and each has its strengths. AMD might offer better bang for your buck in some cases, while NVIDIA has its fancy tech like DLSS and ray tracing. Both release updates for their drivers, and power efficiency is a thing too. Ray tracing? NVIDIA's been on top, but AMD's catching up. It's a bit like Coke vs. Pepsi—depends on your taste and what you're looking for. Check the latest reviews, see what fits your needs, and roll with it. Oh, and good luck finding one in stock!

NVidia cards are dual purpose - if you get one with sufficient VRAM buffer (16GB preferably!), you can use them for machine learning or applied-AI applications. That's one gripe i have with AMD cards - CUDA is the language of many open source, end-user-available AI applications. This really helps with its long run usefulness.
