Router dependent ang process, igoogle mo nalang isp nyo (if converge pldt globe etc) tas portforward, madalas may mga steps na yan. Note that lag is not related sa portforward. Ang portforward ay isang way ng pag access sa computer mo from the internet, ie portforward 25565 for minecraft para makaconnect friends mo etc.

port forward is like opening a door to your internal network to the outside network.

you must specify the port number and the application or service. so outside internet will use the specific port to access the application or service.

this is a safety feature, so the outside internet can only access a application or service that you specify and nothing else.

example: you open your house door but people can only access the guest room, but bedroom doors are all locked.

tbh mahirap rin mag port forward especially with specific ISPs dito. tl;dr too many steps that using hamachi can just fix in one go
