To anyone reading this today, if you're a techie and confident with tinkering around I'd suggest investing in a Proxmox server to host a gaming Virtual Machine (Windows, SteamOS, etc). With 30k-40k sa SteamDeck I could say that I could build a 2-4 old generation CPU paired with an old GTX or Radeon RX which could match or a Steam Deck, although would have to scrounge the 2nd hand market for the hardware. The upside to having a VM server is that in next generation of Steam Deck you could definitely just upgrade your hardware cheaper than buying the new gen. And for the portability, if paired with a 2.5Gb network and TailScale VPN this server be steamed to portable devices on home or outdoors with a small lag depending on the client device's network. Am planning to build this next year as soon as prices goes down.

What are your thoughts on Steam Deck?
What would you say are the pros and cons of it compared to other handheld gaming consoles? Is it worth the price? I was planning on buying one and I need your guys' opinions.

tried it, but never got the hook of it. even if i had console experience, it doesn't feel the same

SOLID. Kung bibili ka naman sa steam, legit smooth yan start to finish. Pero kung mahilig ka magmod or magpirate, nako be prepared to learn basic Linux operations. Sobrang daunting at first and you will need time. Pero pag nagets mo na yun ok na siya talaga
