Nakikita ko yung prices ng DDR5 ram nag-drop na ng bago compared nung una. Yung DDR4 na setup ko pwede pa naman, 32GB pa naman at hindi naman ako nagkukulang. Pero syempre naiisip ko rin kung may gains ba talaga na mararamdaman sa everyday use at gaming.

Yung concern ko lang, kung mag-shift ako sa DDR5, motherboard at processor din ang papalitan. Wala naman akong issue sa performance ng rig ko ngayon, so baka maging unnecessary expense lang lahat. Pero sabi ng iba, noticeable daw yung difference sa productivity tasks at sa newer games na mas demanding sa memory.

Curious lang ako sa thoughts niyo. May nag-upgrade na ba dito from DDR4 to DDR5? Ano setup niyo dati at ano na ngayon? May changes ba talaga na worth yung perang ginastos? Or tumabi na lang kayo at naghintay pa?

No choice talaga boss. Wala na kasing binibenta na DDR4 na matino dun sa store na pinupuntahan ko sa Gilmore, kaya inisip ko mag upgrade na rin ako to Ryzen 7000 series para maka 32 GB ako na DDR5. Worth it naman siya, medj ramdam ko yung jump from 5600 to 7700.


Mas mabilis yung pag render and encode ko ng videos.

if same clock speed as ddr4 parang di naman worth. pero sa advent ng AI parang no choice na eh haha

If you dont need the upgrade not worth it. For me i will just save the money and use my rig till it is no longer usable. have mine since 2019. just upgraded it gradualy to keep with the demand

If you're not feeling any performance issues with your current setup, then maybe it's better to hold off for now, especially since upgrading means more than just RAM.
