Boys Night Out" radio show host Sam Gogna aka Sam YG said that a controversial t-shirt at a department store chain was not part of his shows collection.
The disc jockey posted the clarification on Twitter after the t-shirt that said "Its Not Rape, Its A Snuggle With A Struggle" caused a firestorm online.
SM Group of Companies pulled out the shirt from its stores Tuesday and said in a statement that it found the message "unacceptable."
Writer and poet Karen Kunawicz posted the photo of the shirt, which had been shared more than 2,700 times as of 10:58 a.m. on Tuesday by outraged netizens.
Comments left on the post indicated that the shirt was part of the "Boys Night Out" collection. Earlier this year, Sam and his co-hosts Slick Rick and Tony Toni started endorsing a t-shirt line from SM.
But on his Twitter account, Sam denied that the shirt was from the "Boys Night Out" line.
