I don't see why not. A lot of countries require mandatory military service. Teaches discipline too.

This is unecessary burden to students. puro kalokohan lang naman natututunan jan, mga officers mostly abuse authority and papagawin ng bagay na walang kwenta para mapahiya ka lng. I have had experiences before, my classmate kaaway ung officer, unfortunately, next year na assign under sya dun sa officer na yun, ayun pinagtripan pinapasok sa school na naka palda. no choice si ungas ginawa naman hahaha kung ako yun magkakamatayan muna kami hhaha
