Kai is still raw. With that said, I think his window to the NBA isn't quite shut just yet. We've heard of stories of NBA players playing overseas first (i.e. PJ Tucker, Patrick Beverley) before being signed. However, Kai still has a lot to work on (mobility, possibly his outside shot so he can be somewhat of a stretch big, strength). I wish he got to play in Europe, as the competition there would've greatly helped his development (provided he gets minutes). Also, some Filipinos oughta stop hyping him up too much - yes, he's quite possibly our best hope of getting a pure-blooded Filipino in the NBA, but the competition is really, really tough.
