All OPM sounds safe and boring to me. Zero edge. Zero danger. Nothing adventurous. No excitement.

I feel you! A lot of OPM nowadays does sound safe. But have you checked out artists like Gloc-9 or Shanti Dope? They bring some realness and edge to their music. Also, listen to some up-and-coming acts in the underground scene; you might find something that hits different!
