2017 was the year I started talking to this girl whom I found on IG. I was just scrolling around until she msged me. At first I was like maybe this is a dummy account messaging me but then I realized she was one of my friends mutual. I replied back and then soon it became an everyday thing.
Days turn to months and after 3 or something months, she became my gf. LDR happend (I was in Canada and she was in the Philippines) and it was a rollercoaster ride. We had so many misunderstanding and fights but it was part of the journey. After a year of dating, I decided to visit her back home in the Philippines.
During that time, I suprised her on her birthday. Things really felt great because all of the LDR stuff became a reality now. Now, fast forward 2022. We are still going strong and I plan for her to be here with me in Canada. Things are doing great and strong! 5 LDR years and maybe next year or within this year, we'll be together for good.
We only met once but we are going strong. Covid happend and it cancelled my visit way back 2019-2020. Hopefully now things are getting milder.
