How do you manage your salaries?
Managing salaries involves several steps that you can follow to ensure that you receive accurate and timely payment. Here are some general steps to consider:

  1. Understand your compensation: Make sure you understand your salary, benefits, and any other incentives or bonuses that you may be eligible for. Ask your employer for a copy of your employment contract or offer letter, which should include this information.
  2. Keep track of your hours worked: If you are paid hourly, keep track of the hours you work each day, including any overtime or time off. You can do this manually or with a timekeeping system provided by your employer.
  3. Review your pay stub: Review your pay stub regularly to ensure that you are being paid accurately and that all deductions are correct. If you have questions or notice any discrepancies, speak with your employer's payroll department.
  4. Set up direct deposit: If your employer offers direct deposit, consider setting this up to ensure that your salary is deposited directly into your bank account. This can help you avoid delays and ensure that you receive your pay on time.
  5. Plan for taxes and deductions: Be aware of any taxes or deductions that may be taken out of your salary, such as Social Security, Medicare, and income tax. You may want to consult with a tax professional or use online tools to estimate your take-home pay.
  6. Communicate with your employer: If you have questions or concerns about your salary, don't hesitate to speak with your employer or HR department. They can help you understand your pay and address any issues that may arise.

I use "Money Manager" app. But depends on you how you use it din. Ako parang tracker ko lang ng income and expenses. Para may snapshot ka lang lagi ng finances mo. Up to you na lang to strictly follow your budget. Sabi nila 20% set aside agad as savings. Pero mahirap yun pag nakasanayan mo nang gastos lahat.
