Hello, just reading the comments here. Ahaha Nakakatakot pala talaga 'to.

It's either you have to replace the furniture or clean and spray it
+1 ako dito lods. better talaga ipa-professional clean or get rid of the infected furniture para mawala sila ng tuluyan kase kakalat at kakalat if hindi mo alisin.

Very common sa camp accommodation yan.. hehe we usually used tape first, sa pag huli kase pag pinisa mo siya once makita mo puwede pa siyang mag iwan ng mga eggs so better yung tape para walang maiiwan. Then we usually used yung spray na may sabon doon sa part na maitim na pinag babahayan nila since pag di nalinis eh babalik at babalik sila doon.

Our guests have been here since early March. They just sent us photos of bites and a video of a bedbug. Has anyone dealt with this? What do you do? We have booked them into a hotel for the night and have an exterminator coming. Any other suggestions? We will of course have to make a claim to Airbnb to reimburse us for all the expense. I’m practicing keeping calm through all this, so kindly, no horror stories, only success stories, thank you!
Tricky yan. Kasi if you treat the bed bug baka bumalik din kasi ang source might be sa bahay mismo.

Hope it helps sainyo to mga Katzmate. sharing info's para mabawasan ang bedbug sa ating tahanan

Dealing with a bedbug infestation can be challenging, but it's important to take prompt and thorough action to eliminate them. Here are the steps to effectively deal with a bedbug situation:

  1. Identify the Infestation:
    • Confirm that you have bedbugs. Look for small, reddish-brown bugs (adult bedbugs), tiny pale-yellow eggs, and small reddish-brown fecal spots on your mattress, bedding, and nearby areas.
  2. Isolate Infested Items:
    • Quarantine infested items by sealing them in plastic bags or containers to prevent the bedbugs from spreading to other areas of your home.
  3. Wash and Heat-Treat Bedding:
    • Wash all bedding, linens, and clothing in hot water (at least 120°F or 49°C) and dry them on the highest heat setting for at least 30 minutes to kill bedbugs and their eggs.
  4. Vacuum Thoroughly:
    • Vacuum your mattress, box spring, bed frame, and surrounding areas, including cracks and crevices, using a vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter. Empty the vacuum bag or canister immediately into a sealed plastic bag and dispose of it outdoors.
  5. Dispose of Infested Items:
    • Discard heavily infested items that cannot be effectively treated, such as heavily infested mattresses and furniture. Clearly mark them as "infested" to prevent others from picking them up.
  6. Use Bedbug-Proof Covers:
    • Invest in bedbug-proof mattress and box spring encasements to trap any remaining bedbugs and prevent them from escaping or reinfesting your bed.
  7. Reduce Clutter:
    • Declutter your living space as bedbugs have more places to hide in a cluttered environment.
  8. Inspect and Treat Furniture:
    • Inspect and treat any furniture near the infested area. You can use a bedbug-specific insecticide or contact a pest control professional for help.
  9. Apply Bedbug Insecticides:
    • Use bedbug-specific insecticides following the manufacturer's instructions. Apply these treatments to cracks, crevices, and hiding spots where bedbugs are known to hide.
  10. Seal Cracks and Crevices:
    • Seal any cracks, crevices, and gaps in walls, baseboards, and furniture where bedbugs can hide.
  11. Consider Professional Pest Control:
    • If the infestation is severe or persists despite your efforts, it may be necessary to hire a professional pest control company with experience in dealing with bedbugs. They may use heat treatments, insecticides, or other methods to eliminate the infestation.
  12. Monitor and Prevent Reinfestation:
    • Continue to monitor your living space for signs of bedbugs even after treatment. Consider preventive measures like using bedbug traps and being cautious when traveling to avoid bringing bedbugs into your home.
Remember that eliminating a bedbug infestation can be a time-consuming and persistent process. It's crucial to be thorough and follow the recommended steps to ensure that you completely eradicate the infestation. Additionally, it's a good idea to take preventive measures, such as regularly inspecting your living space and being cautious when staying in hotels or traveling to prevent future infestations.

Call an exterminator. If yung bed support or bed itself is made of wood. If may extra naman go biy for a metal one. Apakahirap having wood bed tapos luma na with holes and dents, pasukin sya ng bugs. And always clean
