I dont think its fair to compare the two games. Skyrim was released a decade ago.

combat, background setting and imagery: elden ring
both games are different in their on ways so I suggest trying both.

Skyrim allows players to use mods. Nobody can top off Skyrim being almost a sandbox rpg

Apples and Oranges. But for me, I like the more relaxing pace of Bethesda games. Souls-like games are too difficult for me.

Skyrim is good for exploration and just losing yourself and escaping reality. Yung Elden Ring more action oriented eh.

No Elden ring is not best than Skyrim.

Skyrim back then was an incredible game that had the same hype that Elden ring is getting. So in the future will be the same feeling
