They are different from one another but both are great games. Kung mahilig ka sa RPG and quest base Skyrim, simple ang Skyrim, "do this and get rewarded" quest. Madaming pwedeng gawin pwed ka maging werewolf, vampire etc etc. While Eldern ring is a Soulsborne like game, you play it for the challenge, mga quest ng Elden Ring are complex and easy to miss, you need to be thorough para wala kang mamiss out sa napili mong side quest. Skyrim is a well-rounded rpg and Elden ring is an acquired "taste" kinda game. So what ever floats your boat talaga. IMO Elden Ring is better game in terms of challenge and story telling. While Skyrim is better in terms of flexibility sa play style and game play.

Not a fair comparison because Skyrim is from a different generation of games. Elden Ring is better now, but Skyrim was better relative to other games of its time.

Both are good in their own right. For me, mas kuha ng Skyrim ang atmosphere, scale, and lore. Mas maganda combat ng Elden Ring, pero sanay na rin kasi ako sa gameplay ng FromSoftware.

That being said, di ako nagsasawa sa Skyrim. Solid pa rin siya, even 10 years after. Nakakaumay rin Elden Ring if you don't have the time to grind and get good at the game.
