Makoy Jr.: spoiled incompetent and entitled brat. Gusto lamg umakyat to protect and/or recapture their family's interests. At kita mo talaga na mas obobs sya di hamak kumpara kay Leni, pero he has the best PR and propaganda machinery that money can buy, kaya nabaliktad at si Leni pa tuloy ang pinamukhang bobo. Personally, feeling ko mas presidential material amg kapatid nyamg si Imee. Pero his team was wise enough to recognize na patriyarkal pa din Pilipinas (may mga nakausap nga ako na mga babae na ayaw nila kay Leni na maging presidente dahil babae sya).
Kahit tulugan nya lahat ng debates at interviews at gumising na lang sya on May, e mananalo pa rin sya, unless he or his team fucks up royally somewhere along the road.
Karamihan ng kakilala ko are already making plans that take a Marcos presidency as a given.
Leni: entitled din, eleveted almost to a messiah-like figure by her cult. Pero can only appeal to her base since, despite official campaign messaging, e purist and exclusionary ang dating nung kulto nya. So very unlikely that they can chip away at the Marcos base.
May mga kakilala akong nakatrabaho with her na consultant, she (or her team) has a tendency to think her preferred solutions are right despite expert opinions to the contrary.
Maganda din yung ginawang propaganda ng Marcos camp na inulit-ulit lang na bobo si Leni. I think it was moderately effective.
Isko: corrupt as fuck. Second coming of Erap. Di ko sigurado kung gusto ba niya talaga manalo, or kung nagfufund raising lang sya para may pantaya sya sa casino.
Pero sya ang may ok na narrative (mula hirap and now we here) na may mass appeal. Mas ok sya na candidate in terms of stealing people away from the Marcos base compared to Leni. At putangina, legit talaga na inayos nya ang Maynila, so baka he is better than Erap in some aspects.
Medyo maayos oratorical skills nya pero either basura research team nya or basura ang kanyang information retention skills so he sometimes says stupid shit.
Kung nag unify sana lahat ng opposition resources kay Isko nung December or earlier e baka may pag-asa pa na matalo sana si Makoy Jr. Pero masyado confident mga delawan sa manok nila e, kayo ayun Marcos na talaga.
Ping: sya preference ng FilChi community since they hate Isko (dahil yun nga, halos extortion na talaga ang ginagawang pangingikil ng Manila sa mga business nyang tsinoy community). Likely mas recognizable din si Ping sa kanila dahil sa tulong ni Ping years ago sa mga kidnappings na ginagawa against them.
Pero asa pa sya manalo, kahit gaano pa kalaki funding na makuha nya from the FilChi business community.
Manny: ang mas obobs pa kay Makoy Jr. on everything. Nararamdaman ko sincere naman sya na gustong tumulong pero wala sya talaga alam.
Leody: normally itong mga leftist group na di affiliated sa mga true blue commies, e nakikisawsaw lang sa national para mapublicize ang kanilang agenda. Hindi ito joke para sa kanila, seryoso sila na gusto nilang maisulong yung mga plataporma nila either by winning (highly unlikely) or getting their platforms adopted by more viable candidates (more likely). Pero from a practical perspective, joke pa din sila in terms of machinery and publicity.
Anyway, this is pointless since si Marcos naman na ang mananalo.
