  2. "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley - Set in a world where technological advancements have eliminated suffering, but at the cost of individuality and freedom, this novel is a thought-provoking exploration of a utopian-dystopian society.
  3. "The Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood - In a theocratic dystopia, women are subjugated and used for reproductive purposes. The story follows one woman's struggle for survival and freedom.
  4. "Dune" by Frank Herbert - This epic science fiction saga is set in a desert world where noble houses vie for control of a valuable resource known as spice. It's a blend of politics, religion, and environmental themes.

  7. "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy - A post-apocalyptic tale of a father and son's journey through a desolate, dangerous world. It's a haunting exploration of love and survival.
  8. "Altered Carbon" by Richard K. Morgan - Set in a future where consciousness can be transferred between bodies, this noir-inspired sci-fi novel follows a former soldier investigating a wealthy man's apparent suicide.
  9. "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins - In a dystopian future, the government forces children to participate in a televised death match. The series explores themes of resistance, survival, and the media's role in society.
  10. "The Expanse" series by James S.A. Corey - This space opera series begins with "Leviathan Wakes" and explores a future where humanity has colonized the solar system, but political tensions and mysterious alien technology threaten to plunge it into chaos.
  11. "The Roadside Picnic" by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky - This Russian sci-fi novel tells the story of an alien visitation and the dangerous "zones" left behind, which defy the laws of physics.
  12. "Station Eleven" by Emily St. John Mandel - A post-apocalyptic novel that weaves together multiple narratives, including a traveling Shakespearean troupe, to explore the importance of art and culture in survival. ENJOY READING SAYO KATZMATE :)

If you like Brandon Sanderson works, the Reckoners series. Basically a dystopian story about superpowered people being outright evil tyrants.
