As most people have stated, Nietzsche is a good gateway into philosophy, however, if you would like a more focused narrative into the nature of philosophy itself; I would recommend reading Heidegger's works like Was ist Das, Die Philosophie or Being and Time.

I would recommend gnostics books such as The Panarion of
Epiphanius of Salamis. Provides insights on sexuality considered forbidden on most religions.
