yeah i need to do that, its expensive from where i am hahabest way to learn a language is to speak it so go out there and make yourself a filipino friend hahaha

Enroll in Tagalog classes, which is much easier learning than by yourself. Other than that, you could also ask locals to teach you, I would not prefer YouTube or other apps since they teach basic or rarely use words and teach less on how to construct sentences.
