if the purpose is for gaming, desktops get you the best value. for laptops you pay a premium for portability, but because its so small and can dissipate heat poorly, you can't have powerful parts and end up paying much more, for less performance. from experience, mas nakaka game ako on a desktop, while inaayaw ko yung gaming laptop kasi dyahe talaga kapag umiinit na. not to mention the battery life is terrible :/

pc rig because
1.) better cooling, palaging maiinit pag gaming laptop

2.) no battery issues

3.) the price youd pay for a laptop that can run A lister games would be equivalent to a PC that could run AAA games

4.) if ever youd need to upgrade, you can just swap out parts sa pc, cant really do the same sa laptop aside ram in some cases

+1 sa PC Rig, mas bang for the buck at mas tumatagal.

Gaming laptop is only good if you're on the go.

PC Rig is by far the more practical and economical option. But if you can afford it (and genuinely have the use case; i.e. you move around a lot and dont stay in one place to game), then the laptop can make sense or be an option. Rule of thumb is that the laptop is 2x more expensive for the same performance as a PC desktop!

Ako gaming laptop , I want it portable and that allows me to take it everywhere.

option din mag ITX PC if you won't be travelling as often, pero need pa din ng onting portability. yung mga tipong once a week lang need maglipat. easier to transport than the typical ATX tower, and won't be as limited for performance due to temps vs a gaming laptop

Saken, PC Rig dahil sa tibay, tumatagal, at madaling imodify kung kelangan.

Hindi ko naintindihan kung bakit naging patok ang Gaming Laptop kung di basta-basta ang pagmodify nun. Bihira pa ang laptop parts, maliban nalang kung galing sa manufacturer mismo.
