Seven girls believed to be minors were rescued from a suspected prostitution operation in Pasay City Monday night.
National Bureau of Investigation agents also arrested three suspected pimps during the entrapment operation, GMA News Chino Gaston reported on Unang Balita.
A separate report on dzBB radio early Tuesday said the sting operation was held near a hotel in Pasay City.
But the report said the seven rescued girls denied they were minors, while the three arrested denied being pimps.
One of the suspected pimps claimed being asked by an undercover agent to look for minors.
Those arrested face possible charges of qualified trafficking and violation of the anti-child abuse law.
"Some say were just customers, were buying pleasure. Well, pagka minors, you cater to minors, may problema ka. The fact may menor de edad and youre seeking sexual pleasure, tatamaan ka riyan ng batas," added Special Investigator Dodgie Durian.
Those among the seven rescued girls who are found to be minors will be brought to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
