I have people tell me to join AXIE or whatever its name is. They explain to me that I breed virtual pets and sell them online

My thoughts are that its a waste of time and money because some people are telling me that NFT's would grow in price or whatever.
I would rather invest my money on the old reliable stock market in the long term for an early retirement.

Shame though that I wasn't able to buy bitcoin when I was a bit younger.

I am curious though if there is a simple explanation for a simpleton like me on what NFT's are

Compare it to the real world, It's like an investment with ROI. For example investing in business and has ROI in years on how you handle it. NFT are like this but you play to earn by investing in crypto and by trading. Downside of NFT, is that crypto is volatile, prices may get lower or higher. Much better to have a job and make NFT as your side job for more income as it is volatile unlike in the real world the investment you make are your years of experience that can be essential in jobs.

NFTs are false promises (new tech) only used by those with large capital to capitalize on it's novelty. Basically a scam at the moment with how its current use case does not fulfill any of it's claimed benefits to society.
Lalo na yang axie na yan, kung wala kang capital, trabahador ka lang sa mayroon. Ilang horas kailangan ihulog sa isang araw pag scholar (slave) ka.

NFT stands for Non-Fungible Token. It is like an item that has been created in Blockchain. Those items can be collectibles or art. With AXIE, they revolutionized NFT by creating a game in blockchain that you can earn token that you can trade in crypto market.
