I have zero experience. Bumili ako ng basic angling kit months ago and never kong nagalaw. Basically, di ko alam san sisimulan fishing journey ko.

I have ideas on how to fish thanks to youtube pero I have no idea where to actually fish. If anyone can recommend nice quiet spots within or near the metro I would appreciate it. Yung tahimik na pwede akong magkamali at mag ubos ng oras. Nahihiya ako makisiksik sa mga mangingisda sa may MOA seaside kasi puno sila lagi dun hahah

Maragondon River in Cavite near the estuary and mangroves if you don't mind the travel. Usually would setup near the bank and spend the day.

Got mine for 2k kasama mga fake baits and ilang rolls of fishing line. Alam ko meron ang decathlon ngayon mas mura and good for beginners.

Bro, ito lang opinyon ko. Una ano bang type ang gusto mo ? Bait n Wait,Shore Casting, Jigging at kung ano ano pa. kasi dipende yan sa kahihiligan mo kung anong species ang target mo dun babase yung gamit mong reel and rod. Kung taga Metro Manila ka madami sa Navotas , Bulacan ang nalaot sa Manila Bay
