Have they declined in quality? Many years ago I purchased 2 Redmi units for staff use in the office and they lasted surprisingly long. At least 4 years each. Looking to replace some phones again and now considering getting another Xiaomi.

From my experience, Xiaomi's quality is still decent for the price. My Redmi Note 11 is still going strong after 2 years of heavy use. The thing with Xiaomi is consistency - some models are great while others have issues. If you're buying for office use again, maybe check recent reviews for the specific model you're eyeing. The mid-range Redmis are usually safe bets.

May marerecommend po ba kayo na android phone under 6k yung matagal ang battery life tyaka smooth gamitin. Pangreregalo po sana sa parent ko thanks

Tignan mo yung Infinix Smart 7 or Itel A60 parehas mga under 6k. Matagal battery life at ok naman sa basic use ng parents like calls, text at Facebook. Madali lang gamitin at mura pa maayos ang camera for video calls nila.
