There used to be the short stories on the Universe site, but they just stopped coming out. We used to have multiple iterations of Runeterra with AUs and What-Ifs such as the case of LoR, but the lore is now "unified from now on", so this means most of the stories on the Universe site need to be retconned and re-written.

Now we have this predicament where canon stories exist inside games that you have to pay for, so unless there is an official source that summarizes / recaps these games like a Wiki, it's kind of impossible to keep up with the lore for free, which sucks.

Personally I hope we get more lore in the form of shows like Arcane, or maybe in-game events like what we got for the old Star Guardian or the release of Arcane. There are about 160 Champions in the game with stories that weave into one-another, and most of them feel completely frozen in time, as if they were abandoned along the way.

In my opinion, the Universe site should stay active and updated. It's the go-to lore hub to quickly catch up on the state of the lore and each champions story, and I'd be sad if the lore became "unified but scattered" like it is now.
