I would like to get your opinions or answers regarding how you started with Visual Basic. Ive heard that learning styles differ from people to people, so Id like to know how others learned the language. This would also be an opportunity for me to find other ways of enhancing my, um, VB experience.

Btw, I scavenge ebooks online and thats how I get my info on any programming language, including VB. How bout you?

I transitioned from Clipper + dBase to VB nun late 90s... Tanders na ko... hahaha. But never got to learn Vb.net. But classic vb really helped me at my current work now doing office macros.

Actually first language na natutunan ko is VBA, we used to create SF(Special Force) exp calculator that I post on forum.

Then I started learning SQL, CSS, HTML, PHP, Python and Pascal.

Pascal was taught in my highschool and it was an awesome experience.

VBA kasi is close to normal English language so, it'll be easier to learn.

Now, I just learn the syntax based on my current project.
