OpenAI recently released their "text-to-video" model that can generate videos from text-prompts called , this model creates scarily realistic and near indistinguishable videos from real-life videos.
While in some cases, Sora can be beneficial. In my opinion, its existence is DANGEROUS as it can be used for limitless malicious purposes such as falsifying evidence, defamation, creating illegal media, pornography and so much more. OpenAI themselves said that they would be taking steps in order to ensure Sora's safety, but as we saw from their previous AI-model such "safety measures" can be easily bypassed.
What is your thoughts about this?
