Hey mga ka-forum! I'm planning to upgrade my monitor, and I'm torn between getting a 144Hz or a 240Hz display. Is the jump in refresh rate really noticeable, especially for gaming? I mainly play FPS games and some RPGs. Anyone here who made the switch from 144Hz to 240Hz? Was it worth it? Share your experiences and recommendations, please!

144 is enough for me. Going 240 isn't worth it but if you have the money why not?.

144hz is so smooth af.

If you're in to esports then go for 240 but if you want to play just for fun i with 144.

Totally agree! 144Hz is more than enough for casual gaming, and the smoothness is definitely noticeable. But if you're into competitive play, then yeah, 240Hz might give you that extra edge.
