Hey guys! I'm thinking about upgrading my CPU soon and I want to know what factors I should consider before making a decision. Like, is clock speed more important than the number of cores? And how does compatibility with my current motherboard play into this? Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Amd or intel?

Amd ryzen 5 5th gen and up is budget friendly with good perf.

But still up to you what you will choose.

I have r5 5600. Serves me very well
