Hey everyone! I've been diving into blockchain tech lately and I'm really curious about its future potential. Aside from cryptocurrencies, what other applications do you think blockchain can have in industries like healthcare, finance, or even supply chain management? I think with the arise of ai we will need to use it for verification. For example how can you know if a nude is really a nude if we can create full sex videos from just a face? Well if we have a record of posts in a blockchain (metadata or image but images stored like that would need to be centralised because too much storage). Also there’s a big difference between centralised and decentralised blockchains. Centralised blockchains don’t really need a currency attached to it but decentralised ones do to incentivise people to run and maintain the blockchain.

That's an interesting take! Using blockchain for verification could definitely help with the authenticity issues we're facing, especially with AI deepfakes becoming more common.
